No hourly clock running while somebody walks to the truck. No price that goes up once the crew sees the basement stairs. No surcharge for the disposal fee at the other end.
The model is simple. You send a photo or we come look. You get a flat number based on how much space the load takes up. If you say yes, we carry it out, sweep up behind ourselves, and take it away. If you say no, that costs nothing and there is no follow up call.
A load that leaves your house does not go straight into a hole in the ground. Furniture and household goods in serviceable condition go to donation where they meet the intake standards. Metal goes to scrap. Electronics go to a registered electronics recycler, which is not a preference but a legal requirement in Illinois. What is left over - the genuinely broken, soiled and unusable - goes to a licensed transfer station.

No. Plenty of our jobs happen while the customer is at work. If everything coming out is in the garage, on the driveway or in one clearly identified room, send a photo, mark what goes, and we will confirm the load and send pictures when it is clear. If it is a sorting job where things need to be decided on, it goes faster with you there.
By volume - how much space your items take up in the truck, measured in fractions of a load. Labor, loading, sweeping up and the disposal or recycling fees are all included in that number, so the figure you are quoted is the figure you pay. Nothing gets added on at the end for stairs, distance or weight.
